Arsenio Lupin - 🙊Non dettarmi: non ti ascolto🙉 edition (Say no evil: hear is feeble) » Devlog
This is the category that includes all those words that, due to one or two letters of difference, resemble others (but I assure you, it's possible to distinguish their pronunciation). Just confuse one word with another, and disaster is guaranteed!
Some of the most ridiculous examples include:
- Miss Nelly, described as irresistible, becomes definitely resistible (Resistibile/Resistibile)
- The glorified detective becomes the nonsensical detective (Incensato/Insensato)
- The smile becomes her rice (Il sorriso/Il suo riso)
- Lupin "The sign" (Arsenio/Il segno), but also "At the saint Lupin" (Al san/Arsenio)
- Rose (verb) becomes Absurd (Assurse/Assurde)
- Lupin's unlimited powers become very limited (Illimitati/Limitati)
- Worrying that Lupin is not among the remaining people on the steamboat becomes worrying that he's unhappy (Tra esse/Triste)
- Lupin gets compared to a magician, but instead he's only an average human (Un mago/Umano)
